Our customer has been operating in Florida since 2012 and was founded in 1985. The corporate offices are based in Germany. The company is a leading manufacturer of eye vitamins sold under a well-known brand. Besides the well-knwon product line, our customer manufactures privately labeled vitamins and supplements for optometric and ophtalmologicalpratices.The company’s products are based on the Age-Related Eye Disease Study (AREDS2), a majorclinical trial sponsored by the National Eye Institute. The AREDS was designed to learn more
about the natural history and risk factors of age-related macular degeneration (AMD) andcataracts.
Developing and executing the annual marketing plans which address all aspects of the marketing mix including packaging, product launch, renovation, pricing, promotion, market research, advertising and media. Inherent in this responsibility is working closely with all internal and external functions to translate long-term strategy into highly effective annual marketing and sales strategies and tactics.
Lead multi-functional teams in establishing and driving the execution of key business building initiatives. Initiatives would include product improvements, new products, packaging, competitive opportunities, new markets/segments development, etc.
Develop and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to include Ophthalmologists and Optometrists
Build premium consumer/trade equity for the company business through the design and execution of professional and consumer strategies including advertising, promotion, public relations, packaging, etc.
Identify and evaluate new product and business opportunities within the Medop Health business.
Work closely with Sales to identify opportunities to expand the business in existing channels of trade; also, to facilitate broadening distribution to other channels of trade.
Provide updates on a regular basis regarding the status of the market including identifying key competitive and category trends and making recommendations based on these analyses.
Lead and manage all outside agency initiatives in support of the companies business objectives to include advertising, public relations, promotions, media, and research agencies, consulting firms, etc.
Interface on a consistent basis with Operations, Sales, Finance, and other functional areas to rapidly identify problems/opportunities and take appropriate action as warranted.
MBA degree preferred
Minimum 5 year experience in Brand Management within Health Care industries
Must have strong knowledge of Marketing fundamentals, analytical expertise, and be familiar with syndicated data sources and internal data sources
Must meet the company`s value guidelines. High integrity, ethics, etc.
Ability to take initiative, develop and seek out creative and innovative ideas
